How to solve Launch X431 Diagun III update failed
Launch X431 Diagun III update failed:
When I update Original Launch X431 Diagun III on the official website, I got error “update failed”, the details reading as: Diagun III DISPLAY V2.00.002—-Decompression exception, update failed!
Firmware upgrade package V11.15—Decompression exception, update failed!
HM V10.02— Decompression exception, update failed!

Then I contact http://www.x431.com/ the engineer advice me try to format the TF card or try an another card, I follow him but got the same error; then he guess maybe I interrupt downloading the vehicle software and the file may be only several KB, and advice me to select several car model to update, but got the same error again.
Then, x431.com engineer remote control assists me.
Solve the problem:
Finally, I have solved the update install error. The fault was with the TF reader. I bought a new SD card reader and installed updates ok. Diagun works fine now. Thanks for x431.com engineer great help.

Launch X431 GDS is a hi-tech product. Here, we list some frequently asked questions and answers relating to the using of X431 GDS.
About Hardware
Q: Why does the X431 GDS LCD touch screen respond so slowly in cold whether?
A: It is because the ambient temperature is close to the lower limit of operating temperature range (-10-55℃). Under this situation, it is necessary to warm up the machine for 30 minutes before test.
Q: There is only backlight and no character on the screen. What should I do?
A: Check if the power is well connected. Turn off the machine, unplug the power connector and re-plug it. Turn on the machine after it has been connected to the power for 1 second.
Q: Why there is no response or response incorrectly while clicking the x431 gds screen with touch pen?
A: Please calibrate the screen again. Refer to “2.3.3 7. Screen Calibration” for details.

A: Connector is loosen, shutdown the device and connect well to test again.
Q: E-mail sending failed.
A: Check network configuration.

A: It results from electromagnetic interference and this is normal phenomena.
Q: Detecting interrupted while testing.
A: It results from electromagnetic interference or loose connection.
Q: No response while communicating with vehicle ECU.
A: Make sure that the voltage of vehicle battery is in specified range, the throttle is in the closed position, and all electrical consumers are turned off, and water temperature is in specified range.
Q: Some systems can not be diagnosed
A: The diagnostic socket for the system on some early vehicle may be separated. Refer to the vehicle instruction manual.
Q: No corresponding trouble codes description.
A: It is generally normal circuit “sequel”, search the most approaching trouble code and analyze it.

How to find Launch X431 Serial number? (Take Diagun for example)
1.Star your Diagun, connect your diagun Bluetooth to the power cable / connect your diagun Bluetooth to a car
2.Choose a vehicle brand, click the vehicle software version ,and click “OK”
3.And then you will see the X431 Diagun bluetooth-software-SN
How to install the Latest Software on my Launch X431 Diagun?
1. Backup your CF card software(It's important, just in case that the new software is useless)
2. Download the New Diagun Software
3. Decompress the zip file, then you will have 2 files folder name "GAG" and "PackFile"
4. Copy "GAG" and "PackFile" to the CF card
